Rudolph is a potato table variety suitable for the local fresh market. It has some heat tolerance and can be grown all over Kenya all year round. It produces nice big round tubers and has a long dormancy.

Plant description

Rudolph is an erect tall variety with medium to large dark green leaves. Its flowers are pink. Rudolph can grow in all different types of growing conditions due to its heat and relative drought tolerance.

Disease resistance/tolerance

A strict preventative spraying schedule against late blight is necessary as Rudolph is susceptible to this.
